In this section, the 3 lowest PO’s attained will be explained. The PO’s will also be analysed using a level of achievement table and spider web evaluation graph.

As seen from the table and graph shown, the 3 lowest PO’s are PO 4, 5 and 12. The reason why I felt that PO 4 is not attained at a high level as the other PO’s is because of my performance in the Theory of Machines and Mechanisms and Engineering Design and Ergonomics modules. I felt that I didn’t fully understand the concept and fundamentals of each module. This led to me scoring low grades in both of these modules. However, there is a countermeasure to this issue. One short-term solution is for me to read back and study the notes and tutorials given in order for me to have a better understanding of each module’s basic formulas and concepts. A long-term solution is for me to register and attend online classes for both these modules where all the topics will be covered. This will allow me to fully understand the module as a whole.
Next, PO5 was one of the lowest PO’s attained because I felt that I was a slow learner when it came to computer programmes and application. In my opinion, I did not put in a lot of effort to try and understand how to utilize the MATLAB, ANSYS and Solidworks computer applications. This caused me to have low grades for those modules. A short-term countermeasure for this is for me to ask my friends and lecturers who are more knowledgeable in these computer applications to help me understand the basics on how to use these softwares. Besides that, a long-term solution for this is for me to have a positive mindset, put in more effort and do not give up easily when trying to learn how to use these computer softwares and applications.
Furthermore, PO12 was also one of the lowest PO’s attained because I felt that there is still a lot more for me to learn both in university and working life. As I am still in the process of learning the Professional Engineers and Society module, I realized that there is still a lot more for me to gain knowledge wise in my university life. There are more modules for me to take and learn from. In terms of the Industrial Training module, it made me understand that more knowledge and skills can be gained from working life. Hence, a short-term solution for this is for me to study smart and put in maximum effort to obtain my degree as I am in my final year. A long-term countermeasure for this is for me to get a job that has potential for me to grow not only as an individual but also an engineer.
